Carbon Monoxide Detector went crazy this morning? - kidde carbon monoxide detector
I have a new Kidde NightHawk Carbon Monoxide Detector. We got a month ago and has worked very well. I live in Ohio, and we are in the middle of a winter storm, we were located 5.7 cm of snow and the temperature at about 5. This morning when I walked, I looked at the CM detector as I always do, and was increased from 30 to 33 to 36. Now, normally sits at zero. I woke my husband and asked him to leave and our technology, called oven. No more than 36 and finally back to 0. We have gas heat, gas water tank. There are more gas into the house. We ran a small electric heater in a laundry to keep pipes from freezing, what could this mean? What can I do?

This is dangerous.
I would keep an eye on him. If the sensor is near a furnace wind, I would check the sensor when the first fire oven. Sometimes with a cracked heat exchanger is the creation of some CO before the fan turns when heated. This will be an increase in reading early and then down as the air mixed into the house.
If you have more of readings in the detector, you should make sure the furnace and water heater checked.
