Do I need to have some safety approval before I market my wooden childrens' playhouses? - child wooden playhouse
I have a playhouse for my daughter and I think they are good enough to sell. I know that the sale of tobacco products to children is very complicated, and I wonder whether I too have a number of BS, this brand or something. The house is pretty safe, but as it is for children who are criminally prosecuted.

Cover your back and get it from your local trading standards checked ... should be able to tell all the necessary legislation and to conduct audits.
It is better to be better prepared and safer to enter something easy to fix, and now opened later for expensive (both financially and reputationally) problems.
I think at least the CE mark. I suggest you have a good insurance cover for liability to third parties.
Responsibility of the product that you are for your peace of mind and a Company Ltd, the security markings, etc only helps to sell the goods and has to spend money for the test. Develop corporate Wood Street and the elements, the difficulties over the years will be suspended, just think of the warranty period and the problems they may be, such as maintenance, etc., etc.
Go to your local trading standards ................ You should be able to know everything about it.
Good luck and well done xx
