Ski Patrol Megavideo Is It Hard To Become Ski Patrol?

Is it hard to become ski patrol? - ski patrol megavideo

I'm a good skier, and I know that I meet those qualifications. I know that often the EMT training is required. But it is difficult to be recruited?

I have paid and volunteer Ski Patroller for 15 years and my experience on the mountains. The biggest "big name" expect mountains of EMT experience or certification. Many medium-sized mountains are big enough to be able to find training and the struggle of the workers. If you think rent in the California Sierra, June Mountain (so do not mention, like me interested).

The best way you can the Nottingham of Denver, and ask him to contact a OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care) class, which starts this autumn in your area. (EMT training for the ski patrol.)

With OEC or EMT is an average size of mountains begin without (at work train which means you are an employee slips to slides) in the first year.

Good luck

And to answer your question: "Is it difficult to set to get" ... The answer is "no." It is also worthwhile for the stations, you're dealing with a lot of turnover and are always looking to hire.
